Free spell for June: Midsummer bath salts

Although some might be under the impression that Midsummer is connected with the element of fire, as some of the main themes like the sun and bonfires are prevalent throughout this period. It should be known that astronomically the true element that resonates with this time the most is water, as when midsummer approaches it also heralds the beginning of cancer season (the zodiac I promise!).

So we’ll be working with this element as a basis for our spell and create a special midsummer bath salt mixture to bring about purification and the healing of your aura.

Gather the following:

• 2 cups of bath salts (you could use regular epsom salts as a base but sea salt works too!)

• Lemon balm (relaxation and wellness)

• St. Johns wort (protection)

• Mugwort (for purification however if you are pregnant then substitute with rosemary)

• Essential oils: 10 drops of 5x Cleanse oil, 10 drops of chamomile, and 5 drops of lemon

• A small bottle of blue food dye

Additional ingredients:

• Gold mica power

• A piece of silver

In a good sized bowl mix together the bath salts with a pinch of each herb, then add the proper amounts of each essential oil and finish by mixing in some drops of the food dye. If you desire a light shade of blue add in a few drops, if you want a deeper shade then simply add more. If you also have some mica powder now would be a good time to add it, you’ll only want a slight shimmer so add but a small amount.

Now here’s the enchanting part of the recipe! On the night of the full moon in June place your mixture under its light, all while visualizing on cleansing and removing all that is unneeded from yourself and your aura. Once you have sufficiently placed your intention into the mixture you could go ahead and use it now or at a later date. If you have a piece of silver and would like to boost the effects of the mixture, simply place it within it and let it sit with it for 24 hours!
